The Collaboration Corvallis Neighborhood Livability Workgroup invites
you to attend a forum on the possible implementation of a Property
Maintenance and Rental Housing Licensing program in Corvallis.
Elements of the program could include:

• Adoption of a Property Maintenance Code
• An inspection and licensing program for all rental housing units
• Coordination between the City’s existing Chronic Nuisance
• Property ordinance and rental housing licensing
• An enhanced neighborhood outreach effort

These concepts are being considered in response to testimony
received through the Collaboration Corvallis project regarding adverse
impacts inadequate property maintenance and tenant behavior can
have on neighborhood livability.

There will be an opportunity for public comment at this meeting but
since significant participation is anticipated, please be prepared to
limit the length of oral testimony to a few minutes. Written testimony
can be submitted at the meeting or in advance to the e-mail address
provided below.
