2012 and Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Partners in Care, 2075 NE Wyatt Ct., Bend, OR (off 27th and Courtney). The Saturday session will be for beginning beekeepers or for those who just want to learn
about beekeeping. It will begin with a classroom lecture, then move to several hands on sessions on woodenware, pest management, frame building, beekeeper tools and protection, honey extraction and
more. The Sunday session will be for more advanced beekeepers and is to be taught by Dr. Ramesh Sagili, PhD, Department of Horticulture, Oregon State University The school will explore honey bee
culture through: Applied honey bee biology Helping beekeepers to anticipate rather than react to problems Honey bee colony management The Saturday (March 9th) hours will be from 9:00am to 5:00pm. You
are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or you can purchase at shops nearby. The Sunday (March 10th) hours will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm (depending on question load) Again, you are encouraged to bring
lunch. Total cost for both days is $25.00 for non-COBKA members. (the cost includes 2013 COBKA membership) If you are a current COBKA member, the cost is $5.00 Pre-registration is necessary! You can
