Professional Development Series: Personal Brand

Wednesday, May 22, 2013 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Workshop overview   Do you know your personal brand? Do you know how it's impacting your current networks and your future career opportunities? Branding happens your entire life. You can either set it intentionally, in line with your aspirations, or be accepting of what may happen to come your way. This workshop will help you understand the elements of brand, give you the skills to identify and improve your professional reputation, and equip you with the skills to achieve your personal and career goals.

Presenters   Kathrine Giacchino is a corporate leader, speaker, facilitator and connector. Inspired by a university professor, she was determined to be a change agent for organizations. She left her real estate position in the Midwest and a secured a position with Rubicon International, a boutique technology consulting firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Since then Kathrine has been a major contributor to the growth and transformation at Rubicon, now the leading international curriculum management system provider. As the Foreman of Fundamental Questions, she directs Rubicon’s recruitment and hiring, coordinates the firm’s presence at national and international conferences and is a frequent speaker on panels and workshops. Her energetic and determined contributions are best defined by her favorite “leisure activity” of rock climbing.
Kathrine is a passionate supporter of the Rubicon Educational Foundation and Letty Owings Center. Inspired by the spirit and resiliency of youth, she continues to be an advocate for opportunities for children to develop into global contributors.
