"Boys, men, fathers: A 30-year intergenerational study of how fatherhood impacts men and their families." David C. R. Kerr, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, School of Psychological Science, Oregon State University. Research Scientist, Oregon Social Learning Center.

David is a clinical researcher and a licensed psychologist. He specializes in developmental  studies of risk for depression, substance abuse, delinquency, and suicide.

He received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan in 2004, completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry in 2006, and then took a research position at the Oregon Social Learning Center in Eugene where he continues to work as a Research Scientist.

He has been an assistant professor at OSU since 2008. He has co-authored 39 scholarly articles and book chapters, and has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, the OHSU Medical Research Foundation, and the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.”
