"Statins and Muscles in Older Men and Women: Physical Activity, Muscle Mass, and Physical Performance" David Lee, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy, Oregon State University. Dr. Lee is interested in medications that cause disabilities in older adults, both physical and cognitive disabilities.  Currently, he is studying how medications can affect cognitive impairment, muscle mass, physical function and strength. This area of research will help to identify causes of functional decline and loss of independence in older adults.
