Poplar for Biofuels

Jefferson Field Tour

Near Jefferson, Oregon, hybrid poplar trees are gowing to demonstrate the potential of purpose-grown wood crops for biofuel production in the Northwest.

Join policymakers, Extension professionals, and researchers in learning about the latest biofuel developments in the Northwest focusing on:

Cellulosic biofuels and the Renewable Fuel Standard; Hybrid poplars as a renewable energy crop in Western Washington; Biomass production tour highlighting operational and research poplar plots

Lunch provided!  Please respond no later than August 30, 2013 to reserve your spce and your meal.

Additional tours at AHB demonstration sites are also being arranged.
