Thursday, November 14, 2013 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Oregon State University Theatre's 2013-2014 Season of American Voices begins with Arthur Miller's highly personal and controversial 1964 "memory play" exploring the nature of family, guilt, regret, and love. Memories of Quentin's various relationships and experiences flow in and out of his concsiouness as he grapples with the fallout of his failed marriages and the impact of Commuist "witch hunts" of the 1950s and 1960s had on his friendships and career. Set against a historical backdrop of 20th century American history ranging from Quentin's youth during WW I to his adulthood as a New York lawyer in the 1960s. This tragic play is Miller's fictionalized account of his experiences with HUAC and his devestating marriage to Marylin Monroe.
