Thinning Your Forest

Tuesday, October 29, 2013 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Does your forest need thinning and what will happen if you don't thin?

Which trees should you take out?

What are the best tools and options for getting the work done?

To help you answer these questions you can take part in:

a twilight field tour of a thinning demonstration area led by Julie Woodward, Forestry Education Program Manager, Oregon Forest Resources Institute; and an indoor class session taught by Glenn Ahrens, your OSU Extension Forester

This program is free.  Please feel free to come to the tour and/or the presentation.  Register by contacting the Clackamas County Extension office.
