Dr. Acuna is currently a Senior Research Fellow in Forest Operations, Australian Forest Operations Research Alliance (AFORA). His research interests include use of operations research and optimization techniques in forest management and operations, wood supply chain management, logistics, and value recovery, sustainable forest operations, sensor technologies, wood and biomass harvesting and transport logistics, forest operations and analysis and decision support systems, harvesting machine evaluation, and forest spatial modeling.
