OpenSees on the Road

Presentations on OpenSees software framework.

Thursday, November 21, 2013 - Friday, November 22, 2013 (All Day Event)

Presentations will be made by Dr. Frank McKenna, a research engineering the University of California, Berkeley and the primary developer of the OpenSees framework, as well as by CCE Professors Michael Scott and Andre Barbosa on using OpenSees for research in seismic, fire, and tsunami hazards.  Special guest, Professor Pedro Arduino from the University of Washington, will present his research on geotechnical earthquake engineering simulation using OpenSees. OpenSees on the Road is open to all CCE students and faculty.  Laptops are encouraged as some sessions will be interactive.  The tentative agenda is as follows:
