Oregon Passenger Rail Project: Round-table Discussion

Hosted by OSU AREMA and ODOT

Wednesday, December 4, 2013 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

How would you like to see passenger rail services improve between Eugene and Portland?  The Oregon State University chapter of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA), OSU’s railroad engineering student organization, is co-hosting a round table discussion with Oregon State Department of Transportation (ODOT) so you can provide your input.  The Oregon Passenger Rail Program is studying options for improved passenger rail service between Eugene and Portland, and is currently in the process of selecting a preferred rail alignment to build upon in the future.  Your input will be used to help the Leadership Council make decisions regarding rail route alternatives.  Project representatives will be present to answer any questions you have regarding this issue.  This is an informal event, so feel free to stop by anytime between noon and 1:30pm on Wednesday, December 4th in the Asian-Pacific American Room #206 in the MU.  All OSU students, staff, and faculty are welcome to the event.
