Psi Chi Honor Society


The School of Psychological Science has a Psychology related student organization, Psi Chi Honor Society. This organization is advised by Dr. Teri Lewis.

Membership in Psi Chi, a national honor society for the study of psychology, requires a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

The purpose of Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.

The benefits of Psi Chi is the international recognition, sense of community, leadership development, scholarship opportunities, etc.

The Mission of Psi Chi is to produce a well-educated, ethical, and socially responsible member committed to contributing to the science and profession of psychology and to society in general.

psi chi keyThe Requirements of Psi Chi is a 3.3 GPA, 14 quarter credit hours in psychology, and a psychology major or minor, open to graduate and undergraduate students)
