Wholesale Success Training for Produce Growers

Designed for small and mid-sized fruit and vegetable growers interested in entering into or expanding their sales in the wholesale channel, this "Wholesale Success" training developed by FamilyFarmed.org and USDA is the gold standard for learning best practices in food safety, post-harvest handling and produce packing. A full day of professional training, including lunch and a complimentary copy of the 312-page manual "Wholesale Success: A Farmer's Guide to Food Safety, Selling, Postharvest Handling, and Packing Produce" ($70 value), are included in the registration. Brought to you by a statewide coalition of community food organizations, including Ten Rivers Food Web, Friends of Family Farmers, OSU, Oregon Food Bank and Ecotrust/FoodHub, FamilyFarmed.org, USDA and Ecotrust/FoodHub,  OSU Center for Small Farms and Community Food Systems.
