What: A time to have fun and learn more about ‘critters’, Showmanship and more.                                                                                                    

When: Saturday, January 25, 2014   10:00am – 3:00 pm

On-site registration and required animal health check at (8:30 am).               

Where: Polk County Fairgrounds, Rickreall, Oregon

What to Bring:


  • A healthy rabbit or cavy in a carrying cage or carrier. Rabbits must be at least 8 weeks old and meet the ARBA minimum junior weight requirements. Cavies must be at least six weeks old with a 12 oz. minimum weight. Animals must be healthy (free of fleas, ear mites or other contagious conditions), dry, and manure & mat free. No pregnant animals. There will be a health check at the door.
  • Pocket Pet in Safe Self Contained Environment (Sorry No Reptiles)
  • otebook and pen/pencil


Please Do NOT Bring:


  • Cats
  • Reptiles



Animals For Sale:


  • Healthy Animals for Sale only by 4-H Youth.  Must pass health check. This is a day of learning, PLEASE conduct sales during breaks and lunch. For Sale Tags may be purchased at the registration table, before 9:30 am, and must accompany the animal.  Cost: 50 cents per animal. 


We have rabbit, cavy, Cat and pocket pet educational workshops.
