Oregon Best Event

Saturday, September 15, 2018 12:00 PM - Sunday, September 16, 2018 12:00 PM

Mark your calendars for Oregon BEST FEST 2014! Our annual signature event will take place on September 15-16 in Portland, Oregon.

Oregon BEST FEST is the Northwest's premier cleantech innovation conference. It's a unique gathering of clean technology experts, researchers, businesspeople, students, and others who convene to connect, collaborate, and fast-track commercialization of the latest cleantech breakthroughs. In our sixth annual conference, we will continue the tradition of featuring a wide range of regional and national speakers, panels, research presentations, poster presentations, awards, and interactive workshops. Check our website for the latest information.

Call for Research Poster Presentations:

Oregon BEST is now accepting proposals for Poster Presentations.

We are interested in showcasing posters presenting research findings on thematically relevant subject matter. For details, see our Call for Posters.

Call for Breakout Session Topics & Speakers:

We want to invite your input in developing concurrent breakout sessions with panels of up to four speakers each. We recognize that there are emerging research topics we might not be aware of, or discussions we might not think to bring to this event. In an effort to continually grow the relevance and value of our signature event, Oregon BEST invites anyone engaged in cleantech innovation, research, or commercialization to help us craft the content for these breakout sessions.

If you have an interest in speaking on one of these panels, please respond to this email byMarch 15 with a brief description of your topic.

The subject of each session will not be specific to a given technology or area of study, but should be relevant to our conference theme and informative to our audience. In this area, we are particularly open to creative ideas and presentation approaches. Presentations should help attendees pursue collaborative innovation by emphasizing the process of innovation over technological specifications, and should highlight opportunities for collaboration between Oregon universities and industry.
