Climate-Club Brownbag Lunch

Featuring Julia Jones and Sally Duncan

Friday, March 21, 2014 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

The Oregon Climate Change Research Institute (OCCRI) and the Environmental Arts and Humanities Initiative (EAHI) would like to invite you to the third in a series of “braided lectures” designed to spur conversations about climate change among people of different academic backgrounds.

Julia Jones, Professor of Geography, and Sally Duncan,  Director of the OSU Policy Analysis Laboratory (OPAL) in the School of Public Policy, will address climate change effects on hydrology, land use, and the intertwined roles of science, communications, and social acceptance of resource management.

This is a great opportunity to get a primer on how other disciplines study climate change, learn about the latest findings in climate change research and scholarship, and meet colleagues interested in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Cookies and Coffee provided.
