Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - Information Session

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) specializes in repairing, overhauling, converting, and modernizing ships and submarines for the U.S. Navy.  We are actively filling entry level engineering positions for interested and qualified students with majors in: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Naval Architecture.

Established in 1891, the Shipyard is one of Washington State’s largest industrial facilities, employing over 12,000 highly skilled ship maintenance professionals. The shipyard has the unique facilities to dry-dock and overhaul any ship in the U.S. fleet, service and refuel nuclear reactors, and perform a wide variety of fabrication, manufacturing, and field engineering services.

-Able to successfully obtain a government security clearance;

-Able to pass a standard physical exam;

-Have a minimum 2.95/4.0 GPA to qualify for an engineering position.
