DESCRIPTION:<p>\n  Interested in teaching at the early childhood\, elementa
 ry\, middle or high school level?&nbsp\; Come to an Information Session wit
 h the faculty and staff of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)\n  programs
  at OSU-Cascades to learn about the requirements and admissions procedures\

 U-Cascades’ graduate teaching programs are full-time and follow a cohort 
 model with students taking the same classes at the same time.&nbsp\; Both t
 he early childhood and elementary program and\n  the middle and high school
  programs include ESOL training and student teaching experience in local pu
 blic schools.&nbsp\; The early childhood and elementary program is a 14-mon
 th program. The\n  secondary teaching program offers endorsements in both l
 anguage arts and social students and is a 12-month program.&nbsp\; The OSU-
 Cascades MAT is nationally accredited by the National Council for\n  Accred
 itation of Teacher Education.&nbsp\; The deadline to apply for the 2010-11 
 cohort is 5:00 p.m. on December 7\, 2009.&nbsp\;\n</p>\n<p>\n  The MAT prog
 ram begins in June 2010 and prerequisite courses are offered throughout the
  2009-10 academic year.&nbsp\;\n</p>\n<p>\n  The information session is fre

SUMMARY:Transfer Tuesday Workshop
DESCRIPTION:OSU-Cascades invites community college students and individuals
  with some college experience to meet with admissions specialists each Tues
 day. Transfer Tuesdays occur year-round and enable\nindividuals interested 
 in completing a four-year undergraduate degree to meet with admissions spec
 ialists and learn about OSU-Cascades admissions and transfer requirements\,
  academic programs\, and\nstudy abroad and internships in more than 80 coun
 tries. Students can choose from 11 academic majors and 20 options from OSU 
 and UO\, including art\, business administration\, general science\, human\
 ndevelopment and family sciences\, mathematics\, natural resources\, psycho
 logy\, tourism and outdoor leadership and more. In most cases\, students ca
 n apply credits already earned at a community college\nor other institution

DESCRIPTION:<p>\n  OSU-Cascades invites individuals interested in pursuing 
 a graduate degree in counseling while staying in Central Oregon to join Inf
 ormation Sessions with the faculty and staff of the Campus’ Master\n  of 
 Science in Counseling program.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;OSU-Cascades’ graduate couns
 eling program is a part-time\, three-year cohort model\, where students tak
 e the same classes at the same time.&nbsp\;\n  Students elect to concentrat
 e in either school or community counseling and as part of the curriculum\, 
 devote 18 months to field experience in a public school or community agency
  setting.&nbsp\;\n  Since the program’s inception in 2006\, OSU-Cascades 
 has awarded Masters in counseling degrees to 51 graduates in Central Oregon
 .&nbsp\;\n</p>\n<p>\n  Information sessions are the best way to learn more 
 about the counseling program. The sessions cover program requirements and a
 dmissions procedures\, as well as the application process and\n  deadlines.
 &nbsp\;\n</p>\n<p>\n  The sessions will be held in Cascades Hall on the OSU
