DESCRIPTION:<p>\n  Michael’s presentation will focus on the “effectiven
 ess of OR-OSHA” and “looking forward to 2015”.\n</p>\n<p>\n  Michael 
 became the administrator of the Occupational Safety and Health Division of 
 the Oregon Department of Consumer Services (Oregon OSHA) in September of 20
 05.&nbsp\; Prior to taking on that\n  responsibility\, he was employed by t
 he state of Washington for more than 21 years.&nbsp\; After three years wor
 king for the Washington State Legislature\, Michael worked for the Washingt
 on Department\n  of Labor and Industries in a number of capacities\, includ
 ing more than a decade as the Senior Program Manager of WISHA Policy &amp\;
  Technical Services and eight months as the Acting Assistant\n  Director fo
 r WISHA Services.&nbsp\; He also spent four months administering the Washin
 gton Self Insurance Program.&nbsp\; Michael is a Certified Safety Professio
 nal and a graduate of Gonzaga\n  University in Spokane\, Washington.\n</p>\
