\n\n The talk will feature a proce ss-based watershed model developed for predicting pathogen loads in drinkin g water catchments. His model focuses on Cryptosporidium\, Giardia and E. c oli\, though the\n model is being expanded to include other pathogens and genotypes. Barry has successfully applied the model to catchments in Austra lia\, USA and UK to predict loads under dry and wet weather\n conditions. This talk will give an overview of the model and discuss the strengths and weaknesses.\n
\n\n Prof. Croke is interested in developing research partnerships with colleagues at OSU. We are also talking about internationa lization of our IWW activities with universities in Australia and\n elsewh ere.\n
